Fun Friday!
Today we learned how to graph. We didn't just graph ANYTHING, we had to make it spooky by graphing marshmallow ghosts! First we had to sort the ghosts by color, then we graphed them, and then we got eat them!

Oh Boy! We were able to confirm our predictions with our pumpkin today! We went outside to see what our pumpkin has been up to and we saw that it began to sprout!! Two of the pumpkin seeds began to sprout. It took about 8 days. The students observed the pumpkin today and recorded their observations in their journals. Check it out below...

Fun Friday!
After being gone for two days for a training it was great to see my cupcakes again! We have been working on nonfiction spider writing this week. The students organized the facts they learned on graphic organizers and wrote and illustrated about spiders. I will be hanging their spiders up on our spooky spider board.

Pumpkin Science
We used our 5 senses to explore a pumpkin today. Then, we observed and predicted what would happen if we cut the top off, put soil inside, and left the pumpkin outside.
Here are some of our predictions...
* The pumpkin will grow
* The pumpkin will explode
* The seeds will sprout
* The pumpkin will melt
** Stay tuned to see what happens.**

Fun Friday!
We had fun making "Spooooooooky" patterns in math today!
