Fun Friday!

We had a super first week of kindergarten! I took some pictures of the children working and learning. I will post photos of the children once all media releases are in. Here is a photo of the class book we made this week inspired by the book Ten Apples Up on Top by Dr. Seuss. The book will be out for viewing during our open house on September 6th at 5:30pm.

First Day of School

We had a wonderful first day of kindergarten! It was great getting to know all of my little cupcakes! We learned about the rules, our friends, and school procedures. The cupcakes were excited to know that we do not take naps in kindergarten. :) Mrs. Dapcic needed a nap though! Today we will begin to explore centers and book boxes. See you soon!

It was was so wonderful meeting all of my cupcakes yesterday! They all showed up and explored the new school. I cannot wait to work with all of them next week. We are going to have a super year! See you all on Monday!

It's Monday of our planning week! Everyone has returned to the new Richey! Here is a before picture of my classroom.....The after will be coming by Friday! (let's hope) I will also be posting a video of the construction process made by our tech specialist Mr. Walker.
